Holy smokes, its been nice here in PDX the last couple of weeks!
I had to cut the grass in the back yard on Saturday and Tracey filled up the yard debris can with cuttings from the flower and shrubbery beds. I worked through the compost heap and its ready to go on the garden, nice moist fresh humus with big fat worms in it.
The chickens are each laying an egg almost everyday and clearly enjoying the lengthening daylight and warmth.
I think I need to start prepping rows in the vegetable garden next weekend, whoa.
