I placed our seed order this week with Territorial Seed Company down in Cottage Grove. I got all our seeds from them last year and had good results with just about everything. They have a good selection and more importantly are right here in the Willamette Valley, so the varieties they carry have often been developed locally and trialed in our climate.
I got turned on to them from Steve Solomon’s great book “Growing Vegetables West of the Cascades”. This was my intro-to-gardening bible
last year. Steve gives great practical recommendations for just about all aspects of growing food in your garden here in our part of the country. He founded Territorial Seed back in the 70′s and they continue to carry the varieties that seem to do well here in our area.
So enough about the seed company, here’s what’s on the way.
